Review│♥M·A·C Rebel Lipstick♥

Yay its Saturday, hope your having a magical weekend!♥
I want to share with you all my thoughts on M·A·C's Rebel that I purchased earlier in the week.
I am in love with this! I never normally wear lipstick and if I do its a very nude colour, so I thought I'd be daring and get a darker colour that I wouldn't really go for and see if I could pull it off.
I brought this from my M·A·C counter in Debenhams, it retailed at £15.00. Some may think this is alot of money but its so worth it!

It came in this black packaging. I love the packaging that M·A·C provides for thier products and I always keep them to store them in, so when I am finished my lipstick I can stack them and keep them neat and tidy.

I absolutely love the colour of this lipstick. I'm so so in love and it was so worth every penny. It's a very deep purple but with a hint of pink in it. I personally think it looks much darker in the tube compared to when you actually put it on your lips, but the product is buildable. The more product you put on, the more darker it goes. It also has a satin finish so it gives a beautiful shine on the lips. I've also noticed with this lipstick, if you put a slight amount on your lips too, this also acts as a lip tint which I love also.

The reason why I love this product, other than the colour, is it last so long on my lips! I woke up at 9am today, I put this lipstick on and its 3.30pm and it still is on my lips. Ive had lunch, had drinks and even gave my boyfriend some kisses and it is still as it was when I applied the lipstick this morning and I haven't had to retouch on my lips with the product! I did however, before putting the lipstick on, apply some concealer onto my lips to give the lipstick a bit of hold and after I applied I added some translucent powder over the top to stop it from smudging. This may of been a help for the product to stay on my lips, but I have tried the lipstick another day without applying concealer and powder and it lasts a long period of time.
I honestly cant get enough of this lipstick!

I defiantly recommend this lipstick to you all who want to try something new and dark!

♥My Estée Lauder Counter Experience♥

Happy Thursday! Hope your having a wonderful day!♥
Yesterday I went into town to treat myself to some new make up. I was so excited as I was going to get the Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation as many youtubers and bloggers gave so many good reviews about the product. This was my very first Estée Lauder product I've ever brought and so this is the first time I've ever had an experience at their counter. So I thought I'd share with you all my first counter experience.
I went into Debenhams, a department store, and I went to the Estée Lauder counter, where we waited about 10 minutes to find out there wasn't a make up artist to do a consultation and match me up with foundation colour for about 2 hours! So we went to a different store.

We went to John Lewis, I had never been in this store before so I didn't know my way about but I soon found the make up department. I found the Estée Lauder counter and I was soooooo impressed! As soon as I got to the counter the make up artist asked me if I needed any help. I told her I wanted to buy the Double Wear Foundation and that I've never tried the product before so I needed a colour match! She was so so lovely, she told me to sit on the chair. She asked if I wanted the foundation to match my skin colour exact or if I wanted to go a little bit darker. I always like my foundation just that little darker then my skin tone. She matched me to the foundation in the shade '1W1 BONE' I was so so happy with the bit of foundation she put on my jaw/neck and the colour looked amazing and it felt so smooth and light on my skin! So I told her I was very happy and I would like to purchase the foundation.

This was the part I was very impressed with. When I was paying for the foundation, she gave me a little pot of the foundation and told me to use all the tester pot before I open the proper foundation to make sure I like the shade and if it is the correct colour. I was so so so so impressed! I have never had another company give me a tester pot like that before. I just thought this was a really good idea because she said if the colour wasn't correct she could change the shade for me! And she also gave me a sample of their new perfume! I felt very very happy and I couldn't wait to get home and try it out. I know for sure I will be purchasing another make up product from Estée Lauder in the future!

♥Blow Drying and Straightening Hair Products!♥

Hey you guys, hope your all ok and having a wonderful Monday!♥
Today I thought I'd share with you all my hair products I use when I've washed my hair and I am going to blow dry and straighten my hair! I use quite a few products so keep on reading to find out more about them and my opinions on them!
Okay, so after I have washed my hair I use Charles Worthington Turn Up The Volume Blow Dry Spray (4). This product helps you to achieve volume in your hair, obviously as you can tell by the title of the product. It also adds movement to your hair and leaves your ends feeling light and soft! For the best results you can use a round blow dry brush but personally, I find it very difficult to blow dry my hair with a brush so I just use my fingers! But the round brush will add the volume especially to your roots and give a great lift, but I see volume in my hair with a brush, its all personal preference! To use this product all you do is spray onto your wet roots and then brush the product with a wide toothed comb from your roots down to the ends of your hair. You can also use this product in between washes on dry hair to help add volume to your hairstyle for the day!

After I have applied my Blow Dry Spray I then blast my hair with the hairdryer. To help with the volume flip my hair towards to the floor and blow dry my roots this will definitely add volume to your roots! I always have my temperature on the medium heat because if you have it on the hottest heat you could damage the cuticle of your hair. I blast my hair until it is 'damp'.

Now I section my hair, I take the bottom layer and clip up the rest of my hair using a clip as seen in the photo! I now use Trevor Sorbie Beautifully Straightened Lightweight Serum (2). I absolutely love this product! It leaves your hair feeling so so so smooth and soft and helps with frizz on the ends of your hair! It also includes a heat protector, helps to defrizz your hair, and it has shine-enhancing technology which is definitely true! Its suitable for all hair types and for coloured hair! What you do with this product is you pump out the product on your fingers and run it through the sections of the hair you are going to be drying with your hairdryer and leave in your hair for a minute or so then begin to blow dry.

Okay so now I start blow drying my hair, I run my fingers through my hair, keeping hold of my hair to help dry it and to make sure my hair drys straight! With my hairdryer I always have my nozzle on the end, this helps direct the air flow. I always point my nozzle/ hairdryer downwards towards the floor, this will help you achieve a smooth cuticle as you are blowing them down and the cuticles will be laying flat and not sticking up! I always hover the nozzle above the hair, never placing the nozzle on the hair as this can cause heat damage too. I do this to each section of my hair, added the serum each layer I take until my hair is all nice and dry!

After blow drying its time for straightening! I think this is my favourite part of my routine as I love seeing the difference between my natural wavy hair and then the straight hair I have just straightened. The product I use next is Trevor Sorbie Beautifully Straightened Protect, Flatten & Shine Spray (3). This product is also amazing! The aim of this product is to literally straighten your hair! It is for all hair types and coloured and treated hair and it includes an 'Easy-Iron' technology to help smooth out all kinks and waves that you have in your hair. It also helps to increases the resistance to hair damage and makes your hair stronger and makes your hair look more healthier! It has also a heat protection up to 220C and gives your hair a nice shine. What I do with this product is I section my hair just like before starting from my bottom layer, I spray this onto the section making sure I am spraying a arms width away onto the hair! I let it sit for a minute and then go in with my straighteners.

After I have done this throughout my hair and I have finished straightening, I then brush my hair with a paddle brush and style it to how I desire. Then finally, the last product I use to give extra shine is Toni&Guy Finishing Shine Spray (1). This is a lovely style finisher and adds an amazing shine to your hairstyle! It is light and adds amazing dazzle to your sleek hair. You can also spray it over your hair and dry with you hairdryer on cold to add even more shine! All I do is shake it very well before I use the products and spray about 2-3 pumps, an arms widths away, and spray it all over my hair too finish off my hairstyle! And that's that!
